Wheel Alignment

I just bought a 2003 Protege Es with 8,000 miles on it. It seems like I need an alignment because the steering wheel is off centered and the car tends to go to the right slightly when I let go of the steering wheel. I took it in to a shop and suppose they took care of it but it does the same thing. Is my car fine or I'm I just being to picky.

If you have 8K on the car, it is covered by warranty (up through first 12K miles). This is free, take it to the dealer.

Don't forget roads are crowned, so you will pull to the right a little bit anyway, but the steering wheel should be centered/straight.

my dealer said they don't do alignment when i called for this service...
there isn't a dealer in the country that doesn't have an alignment machine.....if the service department is trying to pull this crap on you, I think its time to go directly to the owner of the dealership....and if they honestly don't? well that is one poorly equipted dealer...and I would be looking for another one.
