this girl that works at my job has a bad ass celica. i also work with her boyfriend so he helps her, but it is still pretty sweetjflo said:the Sentra SE-Rs and G20s had the SR20VEs. those were really nice engines. the KA24 is a great engine for turbocharging if done correctly. SR20DET engines are not $300. you've got hookups if you can get it for that cheap, and if it were, it's probably just the block, head, and crank, minus pistons and rods and any hardware needed to run the engine. you can get a decent complete engine for $650 (my friend is trying to complete his own swap right now). a whole front clip from a silvia is $1500-$3000 depending on the year and mileage. my friend's stock 240SX suspension doesn't handle as well as my miata, but it does have great turn-in, response, and not too much oversteer. blah blah blah blah blah blah blah
my least favorite sport compact car is: celica gt/gt-s. why ? too many damn girl drivers (no offense to them) that take the car, put on an exhaust, girly ass stickers and flower designs on the car, and drive like they own the road.
Looks like a little jewish hat with wheels.protejay5 said:btw, i just saw my first xA the other day. what an ugly little POS. gross.

Yup. Honestly, the Z24 isn't all THAT ugly, and it's got good power. But, as is the case with most American "performance-oriented" vehicles, it handles like s***. My wife had a 2000 Z24 that I was "priveledged" enough to drive while she had the 5 for about 9 months, and I didn't really mind it, until I tried taking it 'crossing through the local office park. Thing felt like it would roll over in a sharp turn...................Also, the interior fit and finish was crap, not to mention cheap looking and feeling. Otherwise, not bad enough to say I hate it.orange330 said:If you consider the Cavalier, I have to say the Pontiac Sunfire.

My buddy's just finished his RB swap into his 240..spent quite a bit of pocket change..but it is so god damn fast..
Finally, someone who agrees that the '00 up Z24 (5 speed) isnt all that bad......and please dont get me wrong, the interior is crap and it handles like s***.....but you take any n/a sport compact against it in the quarter mile (svt focus, civic si, spec v, or the turbo'd mazdaspeed etc.) in stock form, and yo ass is eating domestic torque and getting whooped.sidpro5 said:Yup. That being said, I can't of what my least favorite would be right now...........
