Im just trying to get feedback to see how many members have Nextel's. Ive been contemplating getting a Nextel for my company so customers can reach me via Walkie Talkie to save on charges to their phones. Im posting this on other message boards to see if it would be worth while venture to assist customers faster when they have questions regarding products and orders.

Do a lot of your customers have Nextels? Otherwise, how would you be saving them money? You could also look into maybe getting a Blackberry and then have your customers Email you their questions.

Might be cheaper for you to get a 1 800 number with voicemail. I use US Cellular not bad but no online bill payment

True, but with the Boost Mobile id be looking @ about $31 a month if I only use it for Walkie Talkie.
LOL dude i just went to the boost mobile website to look for service for myself. lol

^^^ My last idea is of relatively little help as you may already realize. But I think Nextell is great nd I would have it if it worked in my area.

I was looking into getting a nextel but it was way too expensive to get decent anytime minutes. The only people I know with nextel are the guys at work, they nextel each other from their desks because they are too damned lazy to get up, its also great for our auction guys.
If your customers dont have nextel it really wouldnt be worth it.
I have used verizon for 4 years now, at first the signal was bad but thats because we lived in BFE, now that it is built up and there are more towers it works great.

How about NONE! I used to use ALTELL and they SUCK ASS!! Kept getting bills for s*** I didn't use from their mistakes and had to jump through loops to get them cleared. I never used my phone so it wasn't worth having. I can't justify having one now. It's not that I am against them, it's just of no use for me.

I have Nextel and I love it. I got the new i730 (maybe its not new anymore). All my friends have walkie-talkies and I heard the Verizon service isn't up to par with Nextels.

Cingular/ATT Wireless-Alltel-network-sharing-and-Voicestream-network-sharing conglomerate... and i get great rates for being a long time customer... :D

tmobile and i hate it. terrible reception in my area, no service at my house.. but i get it free from my job :(

I have and love Verizon. I got great coverage all over.

Nextel is excellent in major metro areas but as soon as you live the city your service goes away. Traveled with my dad this summer (he has Nextel through work) and it worked at the beginning of the trip (Salt Lake) and the end of the trip (Seattle) but no where in between (including Yellowstone and all across Montana, easter Washington, etc...)

Nextel is great if you don't plan on traveling, otherwise you might want to pass.

Nokia, i see no point in paying so much a month for a phone on a nextel, its a damn phone!!! spend it on somethin else.
