What's the max drop without the need of a camber kit?

I have a 2002 ES sitting on 18s with stock suspension, when I bought it the previous owner gave me a new set of Matrix coilovers in the box and I only want a 1 inch drop, 1.5 at the most, but I don't want to have to worry about camber ruining my tires, so my question is will a 1-1.5 inch drop need camber adjustment?

you will need an alignment with any drop.

btw toe in kills tires not really camber. you could run 2 to 2.5 degrees on camber on these cars and it wouldnt really reduce the life of the tire. lots of toe in or out will though. that being said i dropped my car from .75" to 1.5+" and the caster didnt change and the camber barely did as i had to add camber. the toe changed quite a bit.

i would be worried about rubbing and offset before camber and alignment
