SATimko has this, awesome unit for the money! I keep convincing myself I have a perfectly good Alpine and TomTom and don't need to upgrade.....

On his unit, the DVD only plays when the car is stationary (both times I've seen him use it at least.)

I bought my brother a portable dvd player and he takes it on road trips. He and his wife now has to fight over who drives, because the pasenger gets to use the DVD player

I love it! Has everything. Navigation, ipod, bluetooth, xm traffic, rear camera view, dvd player, radio, and more. Found it on Fotoconnection.com from about $700 something dont remember exactly.


edit: just checked the site and looks like they don't sell it anymore. This headunit retailed for $1,000 but I got it for a steal. Well worth it.

Second off.. For SMILEY10070 there are 2 available versions of the pioneer units. the one i posted was w/o dvd for 600 and some change + shipping and theres a one w/ a dvd player for 800 and no shipping charges... OH and the D3 is discontinued cuz of these

the D3 navigation is amazing! Better than my friends factory 07 G35 or any other i've seen the overview map is perfect and the dvd play and all is fun for long trips or music videos. I had no idea they were discontinued though. But the double din headunits are awesome and everyone that gets in the car always says something about it.

Oh and its touchscreen which is a plus as well

Here's a picture of the JVC KW-AVX810 in my dash. You can add on a GPS module as well as bluetooth. Has SD and USB as well as playing dvd/divx. I'm enjoying mine very much but I can't comment on the GPS or bluetooth because I have not added either. Was about $600 6 months ago.
