What's next?

Wondering what I should get next for the MSP? I'm still craving more power and looking to spend around $500 more... Here's my current list of mods: Hasport Motor Mounts, SU Smic, Hardpipes, Joep MBC (@10psi), Catless J-pipe/ Midpipe, SSAFC v1, NGK -1 Plugs, and Prosport Boost Gauge. Thinking a dowpipe will come next?

Yes stock block... I know all the horror stories, but my car is running like a champ. And has been for the past 6 months

Just because its running like a champ doesn't mean it will last, s*** my friends turbo eclipse was running like a champ at 21 psi....till the rod decided it didn't like being with the piston anymore.

All im saying is know your limits.

+1 on the wideband.

save that $500, you are not too far from being able to build your motor. You can use that $500 for other things but you will eventually get like me and others...craving more power but at the limits of the stock block. Build the motor and continue off of that

Thats what im saying ^

Not to hate on the FSDE but we all know deep down that it isnt a great motor.

Only way id ever own one is with a brand new built motor.

I looked into going forged and building the tranny, personally I don't think the $ invested is worth the power outcome. Was really just looking for a few modifications that I should have purchased and didnt get along the way. Definitely going to look into the wideband though, ken from PG mentioned it when he finished my car. Besides I'm going AWD: Evo, TT, or STI next year anyway

well if your not planning on joining the zoom zoom boom club id say drop it down to 6-8psi.

Every car is different, just because someone blew there engine at 10psi doesn't mean it's bad. It's all in how you treat your car and if you do proper maintenance. All you guys that are saying "you'll be sorry" need to relax. My car has been running 10psi for 7 years and 170,000km's with no i'll effects but I guess you guys would just say "oh know your about to blow!" All I know is that it runs great! (drinks)

get a wide band and or some type of EMS. Split Second is the way to go.

Exactly. This way you can run 10psi safely. I ran 12psi on the stock block for just about 2 years with not one problem. Car ran hard.
Just noticed you have an afc, so ya get a 3 inch downpipe or sell the smic for a nice front mount kit.

you aare right i retract my previous statment. if you have a good tune you can run 10psi nice and safe like sanspeed said. ive been running 10-12 psi on the MSP for about 4 years. did that with EMS and a good tune on a stock block with supporting mods. Sam over at crossover auto has the remaining PEP downpipes. Just a quick question, where did you get the Hasport motor mounts?
