when my car got broken into 2 months ago i had to put tape on the body to hold a plastic sheet over the window they broke to steal my 3 year old kenwood head unit, the tape seemed to not stick to badly, and hold the sheet.
Aparently not, after getting the car back and having the new head unit installed and the window replaced there is a decent amount of residue on the area where the tape was.
I was gonna use something called goof off, but my brain said no, since it smelled like paint thinner, and I dont want to mess up the paint job, other jerks have done that for me via my right rear bumper and a dent near my front end.
I just need a solvent that will be body paint safe and remove the tape goo. Confirmed solutions only please, I know you all have great ideas, but I'm fresh out.
