So I have a SS map clamp and joey p boost controller on the way along with the following mods:
Mscai
Forge valve
SU boost tubes
ETS tmic
CS dp and race pipe
Prosport boost gauge

The car right now will make 20lbs of boost easily then cuts hard once it hits 21. Once the manual boost controller gets here i'm thinking of setting it to 20lbs and installing the clamp. Is that safe to run without a fuel pump? I donthave a dash hawk to look at afr's. It's either that or a cdfp next.

Thanks.
James

20 PSI on a stock intercooler is not safe...with an upgraded one, yes.

Without a fuel pump, I doubt you'll run 20 PSI with out dipping your fuel pressures...

As far as AFRs, you'd be fine in the summer...doubt in the winter, depending how cold your winters are.

How is your boost building to 20PSI...? There is something wrong there...

And I would definitely invest in a DashHawk...should be everyones first mod!!!

Seattle winters, so occasionally it gets pretty cold (below freezing)
I can't tell you what gears it's in, but I do see 20psi pretty regularly. I'll try and get a better read on it again and give better gear readings.
