What would you choose?

03' Lexus IS300 - 5spd manual, 34k immaculate cond.
OR
07' Cert Pre-Owned Civic SI sedan, 20k miles

Lexus is certainly the more mature, luxurious car. I think it's perhaps a tick off the Honda in performance numbers. But then again you don't need to have the motor between 6k and 8k rpm's to be making good power, either. Not to mention, both seem to have more handling ability than can easily be pushed on public roads anyhow...

Anyone have substantial seat-time in both of these?

I know a MSP3 can get into this mix, too. But at the moment I'm just looking for thoughts on this comparison.

Hmm really a hard choice honestly. I know most would say get the Lexus since it is a lexus, but depending on mileage it could be a higher mileage lexus and things start to get pricey. Plus the new SI sedans are REALLY nice, and would have warranty still.

The Lexus for sure... those are really rare to find in 5speed.
