After seeing quite a few posts on the subject on this and other sites, I would say you should be able to get $5000 off the sticker without working up a swet. I bought my Titanium Speed6 GT (Everything except Navi) in August and the contract amount (for the vehicle only) was $26K and change. Part of that lower price represents Ford S-plan pricing which I dont think will be available to everyone.
I also was able to negotiate a 100K mile warranty down to $1500, if I remember correctly, which was about 4-500 below what I was quoted at other dealers and got Satalite radio installation free. I live in Michigan so I really cannot say what conditions are like in your area, but with 2 weeks left in 2006, I would expect a pretty decent deal on this car. I think I also had a unique circumstance in that my dealer somehow had a ton of Speed6's almost everyone of which was Titanium. No other local dealer offered within $1000 of the deal I got on mine
