what turbo is on the MSP

i might be in the wrong part of the forum or on the wrong forum. but i have been looking everywhere to find out what turb is on the MSP and have had no luck with finding it. the reason i ask is i have a 88 323 gtx and the elbow off the turbo is rather small and i was curious about iON down pipe fitting and or even bolting up to the turbo itself, the stock turbo on the gtx is a vj-14. any help is appreciated. thanx

yea unfortunately the Garret and IHI exhaust ports on the housing are different. look at wrx o2 housings for possible matches; as they use IHI VJ-series turbos IIRC.

I used to have a 88 323 GTX and upgraded the turbo to the J11 IHI turbo. It rocked my ride out of control. (OOC) I think the stock turbo is the IHI J6 on the 323 GTX. The MSP has a Garrett T25 and the upgrade with some modifing is the GT28RS or the GT30.
