2011 2 SPORT, manual
Hey all,

Just got my 2 yesterday. I had only test driven the automatic, but I wanted (and purchased) the manual. Holy moly, it is soooo much more fun to drive than the automatic.

I want to get some mods, but I'm not exactly sure what order would be best. I'm probably going to have to save a bit between mods, so what do you all suggest?

Mods I'd like -

intake
exhaust
ecu tune
wheels/tires
springs
coilovers
anti-roll bars
braces
body kit

It's my daily driver, so I don't know if I'll ever do track days and need the coilovers, bracing, etc. But anything that might make the car more fun to drive could be on the list.

Thoughts?

Struts/springs or coilovers....the wheel gap from the factory is atroucious. Not only will it look better but it's very functional too. :D

Congrats...now more info....color, trim level, pics. :)

X2, suspension items first...

Mod what YOU think that needs to be modded after driving the car according to your driving profile, not what we tell you.
Brake in the car, transmision, brakes etc and enjoy driving it.Sooner or later you will know what has to be tuned.

The only performance mod I've ever done to any vehicle I've owned is to add a beefier rear anti-sway bar to my Saab 9-3. I read on some forums that it was the best $99 dollars you could spend on the car, and made it drive like it should. I did it, and it made the car a lot more fun to drive.

I think I'd like to take it a few steps further with the 2, but I really don't even know how big of an effect many mods have. At the moment, I have no plans for track days, so I'd like to avoid any mods that might only be worth it for track times. Basically, I don't want to spend a lot of money on mods just because it seems cool. And I'm pretty ignorant to performance modding.
