ok let me here everyones suggestions for putting 2gz into my car. i have a big tax return coming my way... 
Depends on what you want. If you want to spend it on go fast goodies, use it torwards a turbo. You have SpoolinMP3 making manifolds and selling turbos, and you have Bell Engineering making a kit. I have done alot of mods and my opinion is the only way we are gonna see HP is through forced induction.
If you wanna spend it on looks, the Wings West kit will be out soon. Get that and some good rims and springs.

Well, I think that until we see someone tune their MP3 with the NA mods, we can't say that they don't produce any power. Cams alone will never Yes NC has almost all the mods on his car, but he hasn't dyno'd it, nor has his car been tuned. I'm sure once he tunes his car on a dyno, we'll have some idea of what our cars are capable of as far as NA goes. I'm also sure he'll be some what satified with what he has, considering he already owns a boosted car. Without playing with the fuel and tuning the cams, I'm not expecting too much from our motors. I'm saying maybe 132-144whp. Anything more than that and we'll have to get into porting, polishing, knife edging etc...
Call up Jackson Racing and tell them they can use your engine to test a prototype supercharger. If it blows your engine use the money to fix it. Hey you may get a free supercharger out of the deal, or get a new engine and a big debt err $2k hmm maybe a cam or two and some NOS. LOL I dunno just my two cents... "I would'''nt do it"

whats the gain with the turbo that we know of now??
Spend it on autocross entry fees, driving schools and trackdays and learn how to drive fast. Then buy yourself some new tires. Your car has great performance stock! Or you could spend your 2gz(so that's where all that money I PAY goes! Yes, I am jealous.) getting 10-15 more horsepower that is still meager compared to MANY other vehicles running around out there. But what if you could drive better and make them look like fools with the horsepower you've already got?
Yeah, I can probably get 10-20 more HP out of tuning, but still depends on what you want. If you are looking for a big performance boost, save for the turbo. If not go NA. My car is alot more fun now, but I won't settle for anything less than 250 whp! So it is turbo for me. Think I will run about 15 psi and see how well the engine holds up. If it blows that will give me a reason to change out the bottom end. Yes I am crazy!

i agree with you, you are crazy. I want 250whp on mine but am not willing to run crazy boost on the engine and risk takeing a rod out the hood. If you get the turbo kit(sorry when you get the turbo kit)run like 8 pounds until some good internals come out.

way to go AZ! Welcome to your new additction! The way I lok at it you can drag race and get your ass handed to you on a regular basis or you can autocross and be a serious contender. Believe me, people in G Stock will get scared when they see you rollin' up in the MP3. Within the next year or two the MP3 will be the car to have in GS.
