So I have about $2000 to spend on my MS3. I have somewhat of an idea of what I want to do, but I wanted some input. I already have a CAI, CBE, and RP. I was thinking that I wanted to do coil overs, maybe MS, still looking, and some RX-8 Wheels. I know that If I do the coil overs, I most likely need to get the rear camber plates as well. I have a little more than $2000, so that is in my budget. What would you guys do?

I can think of a few more things to do with that money other than coils. You looking for performance HP wise? Suspension? Looks? What are your overall plans for the car?

hey they got some rx8 wheels for sale in the marketplace. other then that i would probably look at some motor mounts to get rid of the wheel hopp, and some sway bars. i have hotckis sway bars on my car and they work awesome.

with your current mods, the next ones i personally would get is: corksport DP, new tmic or PG's fmic piping then get a core, cobb ap, a turbo inlet ( cpe, cobb or pg), PTP fuel pump and smoking fix and then a pro tune..

thats me personally, im more about power mods than looking pretty mods..and i like to keep it looking stock

though:
http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/showthread.php?t=123752662 rx8 wheels 375 shipped, thats real good
tints are a good idea, i got tints within the first week i had the car
dash hawk is def good too, though i monitor with my AP for the time being

edit: agreeing with the person above, i left out motor mounts, def get at least a rear one

Agreed with both .. Full mount set is about 275 I think. Full sway bars run around 350. You can get a CS DP for 300. Thats around 925 right there. PG's FMIC piping + a core would be maybe 450. AP's are selling like crazy around here for 525. Your under 2000 with all that, and then get tuned for around 200. Total somewhere in the neighborhood of 2100.

Now thats what I would do for performance. Lots of mods, more HP!

pro tuned for about 200? where the hell are you getting tuned?! let me know!

depends on the shop. Precision Tuning for WRX's, friends of mine have said runs around 2-250. Now Akuma, that'll run you like 3-400, and Ill trust John there alot more. Especially when he just tuned a 700+ whp GT-R. I need an AP though damnit!

what is the benefit to plugs? which plugs are most reccomended? No way on the mm's. Im not messing with them. No way. I would be interested in the sway bars. Also, I forgot Dashawk...and in regards to those RX8's, they are not in good enough shape...

Sponsor me please? LOL 16 year old MS3 drivers FTW

Do coilovers and swaybars to help with handling. It's all about cornering speed!

yeah im sure they do. Stiffer= less body roll, and a lower center of gravity helps as well.

How did you know im 16?

ha nice... yeah I have a downhill bike im thinking about selling, so the proceeds of that (hopefully around $2500) are going towards the car. I think so far I've decided on the Following:
Dash Hawk
Window Tint
RX-8 Wheels, will I Need a drop?
COBB or PG TIP
Possibly an ETS TMIC or an SU TMIC

Idk why you would need a drop with RX-8 wheels. They are 18x8 so the same diameter as ours. Why not go with an aftermarket set of wheels and shave some unsprung weight? Faster acceleration and better handling. I've been wanting to do a TMIC forever too and help cut down on boost temps but I keep spending my money on other stuff lol.

Oh god... we're 16 year olds giving each other MS3 advice FTL.

Oh, defidently get the TIP. And RX8 Rims are like 20 pounds and ours are 24 I think.
