What to do with $2000

Idk why you would need a drop with RX-8 wheels. They are 18x8 so the same diameter as ours. Why not go with an aftermarket set of wheels and shave some unsprung weight? Faster acceleration and better handling. I've been wanting to do a TMIC forever too and help cut down on boost temps but I keep spending my money on other stuff lol.

just cause i think it would look a bit cleaner. and i seem to have the same problem with the money spending lol...but the TMIC is an option

I'm looking for a set of RX8s as well. I want to paint them time attack style.

I've got time attack Tenzo R's its cool cause no one really has them or has seen them around here. Only one other car nearby has them but out cars kinda match which is cool even though its a suby.

yes...true, how much do you think that would set me back?
I could also do te37's, sooooo sick on the MS3

I have no clue..... You could get some R3 RX-8 rims too. Saw a MS3 with a set of those a while back and it looked sick. They are 19's though so you might be out of luck for lowering then.

Lol I went into getting my race rims setting a budget at 700 at a max..... ended up with some sick SSR's and went over double my budget. Woops

Hah. I want rims now... So I have a budget of like 3-400 or so within the next few months. I already snagged some snows to put on my stockers that were cheap, so now I'm looking for new summer rims. I want to fix up a set of RX8s (with putty, sanding and whatnot) and paint them. Those will work for me for a couple years till I can get some money towards a good set of aftermarket rims.

You can get replicas from online vendors that are identical to the oem RX8s for 150 or so a piece. Stealership prices will be like 500 a rim at least. TE37s will cost around 3,000 dollars.

I'll swing by my dealer for the RX-8's. I would prefer the 18's on the older ones just because if I got 19's, the brakes would look mini. If i dont have to drop it, thats better, less money on my end. Luckily, out in California, I dont worry about snow tires, so im probably putting some nice michelins on there. What size?...i was thinking on the rx's:

235/45/18? right?

why not get some aftermarket OZs. Alleggeritas for like 340 is way better than what the dealer will charge. Plus tons of colors to choose.

this is true...that would also leave a little $$$ for a dashhawk and window tint...or lowering springs
