You're right, I have no room for 14" so I'll have to go with 15"s I've gotten a few trade offers already. Your car is going to look AWSOME with bronze and the BRG.

Does your car have the sport brakes? If not....14s are cheep. I usually sell sets for $150-200 (the 7 spoke castings from 94-97s)....and if they are really ugly.....$100

As for tires....like Laguna said, seat time correctly will help, if dont right. Learning bad habits will only make them harder to break. Ask how I know. ;-)

OTOH.....you could keep your 16s for street use.....and buy a cheep set of 14s for autocross. I recommend this because you will want race tires eventually. And the extra wheels are a requirement.

I'd say go with the front bar for sure to start with. And maybe the brace bolts (like $20 from RB...NOT the full brace). These will keep the sway bar mounts from breaking most likely. I have a stock miata and it will oversteer with a stock rear bar on it.....so the pair isn't really nessacary.

Obtion B on tires may be to get a co-driver to split tire costs with.

I'd also get shocks WAY before I get springs. A good set of adjustables will definatly help the car, where as some springs may actually hurt it (on stock shocks as stated earlier by another).

3. Hmmm. let me look around a bit on this. I was considering sway bars, but don't know much about the options/effects/drawbacks, etc.

Thanks David, I am pretty sure I have the sport brakes, so I'll have to run 15s for autocross. I don't need my stock wheels because I bought a 15" set of aftermarket wheels for street use. So I'm trying to get rid of the stockers to get an autox setup.

I've gotten a few offers so far, but I may end up just selling the 16s then buying a decent 15" setup. As for the Front swaybar at least. Everything I've read suggests against the rear bar for my year... I'm still reading up.

Its easy enough to add it later if you want... Get the adjustable end links with the front bar. It'll help.

i think ansa has sound clips on their website of most of their exhaust applications, but i will probably do it anyway just to keep hearing it. and if you have had any money offers for your rims tell me what they are trying to get them for. i think i am gonna call and get my rims today. i posted a thread on miata.net asking what my polished 16's with yokohama tires with about 15000 mi left on em would go for

hey man so far on my wheel value thread the miata gurus are saying i should be able to get 500 easy for my stockers with the tires. i dont need that much. just ordered drag dr16 in bronze with the same tires as you.......woohoo
