i too have the excessive brake dust on the rear wheels of my 3..........should i just be able to call my dealer and they will install them free of charge?

sorry for being inspecific........i am talking about the break pads causing excessive dust on the wheels......can i just take my car in and have them put the new pads on for free

Dude, there brakes. Brake dust is gonna happen. And it's most common on the rear wheels of all cars. It's espicially bad on SUV's. But if it bothers you that bad just take a water hose too the wheels and a rag and your good too go.

Who in their right mind would install "break" pads in their car? I think I'll stick with the brake variety.

I'm assuming you have the "brake dust" package and bought another set of pads and want the dealership to install them?

except Mazda Sixes....We suffer from the front wheels being gun metal where you guys have the rears turn gunmetal.....the back rims don't even get dust...I locked up my front tires and almost slid off the highway and the back wheels still didn't get dirty....I think thats some wierd brake bias going on there.
