What tire are you using now?

Daily drivers look here: Pirelli Pzero Nero M+S (3 sets!) Quiet, stick like glue and have a 400 tread wear rating! They are not as cool looking as some of the preceeding tires, but what I mentioned about them is more important to me. Head over to TireRack & compare: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Pirelli&tireModel=PZero+Nero+M%26S

I own the General Exclaim UHP's, these tires are rated #1 on tirerack. Dont let the cheap price fool you!! These are the best tires for the money....Period! Absolutely awesome tires. Highly recommend!
Where are these #1? Post a link, I'm always down for the underdog. Here's TireRacks current matrix: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/surveyresults/surveydisplay.jsp?type=UHPAS

I chose the Pirelli's because the only "snow" around here is blowing up from Hollywood.

BFG KDW2

Awesome tire, very loud. Going with Goodyear D3 next.

On a side note, insides of the KDW's are showing cord. Tires would've lasted a bit more, but I didn't get an alignment when I dropped it with sportlines.

.. That's exactly what I did with my set of Kumho ECSTA MX's. Dropped my car on Tein S-Tech's and never got an alignment. Next time I went to rotate the tires -- aaaagh, cord everywhere on the inner front!

But like I said, replaced with the BF KDW-2's. Yay.

.. I wouldn't go with Potenza. Very overpriced IMHO. You can get the same amount of performance for a lot less money through some other kinda tire.

hell yea you went cheap!. we sell those at americas tires..sidewalls are soft as hell. garbage lol

right now I still have the factory bridgestones on there. changing them out today for some gforce sports
so far, im liking the BFG's

chose these because Ive heard lots of good things about them from friends and customers alike about performance and longevity. its my daily driver, so I need something that will last. The trans am gets super sticky, short lasting rubber and my cost at work on them kicked ass :D

Just looked at ratings now and the generals are ranked 2nd now, but do some research on tirerack. You'll find that the generals are the best for only $74 a piece.

Also look under ultra high performance summer in the survey result.

Those are high rated and a great price! It's "apples and oranges" as far as comparisons with the Pirelli's however, because the Generals are UHPS vs. UHPAS.

X2 I really love those tires. My first set were standard 215/45 and my current set are 225/45, they are even better than the 215!!

I have the Yokohama AVS ES100s - they're great and weren't stupidly expensive. Highly recommend them!

Bridgestone Potenza G009s I just put on my car and for an all-season tire they have amazing stickyness!!!!! I can still pull loops on the freeway at over 50mph!!!

my 225/45/r17s are rubbing, how is everyone running those without grindage? i have one 10" sub, but i doubt it is weighing it down. help?

i'm running the falken ziex 512s. they have decent grip, good rain performance and they look decent. i also only paid like $70 a tire for them.
