I didn't realize kartboy was discontinued!! That sucks! Well now, what other shifters are comparable to the Kartboy as far as throw and quality? Also where can I get similar bushings? Thanks alot!

The short shifter can be ordered directly from our website, and the bushings can be added to the order as well from this page: TWM Short Shifters

We also offer shorter shift boots and shift knobs in the packages on the above page.

The throw reduction of our short shifter is 45%-50% and the shift knob height is reduced by 2" inches.

TWM actually makes a short shifter specific for the MazdaSpeed Protege. The only difference from our regular Mazda Protege short shifter is that the threads are longer and the shoulder for the boot retainer is lower to accomodate the MazdaSpeed shift knob.

Hi,

There have been group buys in the past for our Protege short shifters, and there will most likely be some in the future although we do not have one planned at this time. We generally only organize a group buy when people ask us to do so, or if one member of the forum offers to organize it by gathering members.
