hey guys im looking into gettin some springs just wondering what drop the ms3 the most i was thinkin of going the eibachi pro kit cause its really inexpensive and a known brand, any other opinions?

I recommend you do not get the H&R's, you'll hate yourself after a few months of driving on them.

I do recommend the Eibach Pro-Kit, they lowered my car around 1" all around and handle really nice, I have the stock wheels and tires and have almost no wheel gap :)

The Eibach's wont drop the car the most though, I got about 1" or so drop all around, looks good and you can still run the stock struts.

How many people rub the bumper on pretty much anything? I do even with stock springs. I have to park down the street because I cant go up my moms driveway.

Thats pretty crazy, ive never had rubbing issues on 225/40s with eibachs.

If that was meant for my comment, I meant I bottom out on driveways and such, not anything to do with my tires. I was asking if people bottom out more often now.

I can't imagine anything lower than 1" on the MS3, my Eibach Pro-kit is doing very well in my car and I completely hate drive-ways. It's hard enough getting into mine at an angle without scratching the ever-living s*** out of my front bumper underbody

Sorry misunderstood that, yeah I bottomed out the bumper even before I got the spings, only 4.9" ground clearance stock I believe. Luckily arent too many curbed driveways around here.

I just got in today from SU the Cobb springs. I want to lowered it for my new wheels, but not to much.

On my H&R's i have no problems at all.. i can still go through the car wash, i never bottom out, and i love the look of a lowered car.

forget springs man get coilovers. springs suck ass you can do more with coils.. so get bc coils they are very ncie and are worth it call import image raceing to get a good deal springs fail

i have the h&r springs as well and i like them very much. i want to go lower but since I'm buying a house the car doesn't come first anymore lol. as far as your answer which lower the most, i believe the h&r's that are made for the mz3 would lower it the most.

essejkcamraw is running the road magnet springs and his looks really low for just springs.

The only advantage you will have with the coilovers is height adjustment. Ride adjustment should not be done just for the looks, it should be taken to a race shop for balance, so they can put your car on 4 balances and they can distribute with the height adjustment the cross weight. This doesn't guarantee that you car will be the same height on the 4 corners.
On cheap coilovers the shock quality sucks, even if you can adjusts the rebound, it will not work as good as a good shock juat like Koni or Bilstein. If you want a good coilover on which the rebound or stifness can be good as those shocks so mentioned, you will be paying easily over $2,500.

So in my opinion it way much better going with H&R springs together with Koni yellow sport or Bilstein. More quality, better performance, better # on auto x.
