i was talking with a friend that has a 08 sti and said that a intercooler would do my car good should i get a new intercooler

motor mount!! if you don't want vibes, get corksport inserts for $30, I love mine. With winter wet and snow, I would say if you have a 2-piece cai, take off the bottom piece so you don't need to worry about hydrolocking. I would also say grab a catless midpipe - easy install, easy swapped back for dealer visits. Should be able to run a new intercooler on that setup too!

Living in NJ I'd say get a set of all season tires, you shouldnt use those potenzas in the winter. Shifter bushings and rear motor mount are a must.

intercooler is a good mod, but it is one of the more expensive ones to do, and you can see more immediate and better gains from other less expensive parts. like has been pointed out, its not always about sheer power. things like engine mounts and tires or suspension really enhance the driving experience.

thanks guy for all the help i thinking on new tires because i rotated my tires today and there almost no thread on them what tires should be the best ???

Well I didnt figure I get enough snow to warrant a set of dedicated winter tires so I just went with a good set of all season PZero Nero M&S, only have about 2000 miles on them so they still work great, couple people on this thread seem to hate them and say they are no good in the winter at about 20k miles but who knows.

no tread already? how many miles are on them? if the weather is pretty even year round, i'd go with a good set of all season tires.
