What Shocks

Well, I have a set of Sprint Springs on my P5 right now, it rides ok but its a bit bumpy... im sure a better set of shocks would help alot. What are a set of shocks i could get that will be better for not a hell of a lot of money?

I LOVE your wheels, I really want those for my next set of wheels. A nice upgrade strut is the tokico HP, which you can get from protegegarage. I forget how much they were but it's not a ton? Under 100 per corner I believe

Thanks man, they really look good on the car (they're mazda6 wheels btw). I was thinking the HPs would be good but wasnt sure. Thanks for the recommendation.

I went with illuminas

Nothing to add to the thread, but I agree, I love those wheels too! They're so close to stock yet so so much better!

Yeah they're off the first models of the mazda6, im thinking the newer revised 6 doesnt come with these. They dont fit unless you run a 205/40. Anything bigger will need a spacer. However im goin to add 15mm spacers this summer to have them fill the fenders better

s*** they weigh way too much, i think like 22lbs each with out the tires. Definately more than stock wheels. Not the wheel to get for performance, but its not like these cars are that fast in stockish form like mine... so im not missing much.

shut up with stuff like that, it ruins my day :P I want the wheels sooo much but not at that weight :'(

When you say they need spacers, is it because it'll rub the strut with a larger tire size? If I get them, which I still may, I'd want to run a 205/45 tire.

I'm thinkin I might sell all my wheels/tires (summer and winter and stock) and do the following:

Mazda6 wheels for daily driver summer use with some high performance (but decent treadwear and low noise) tires 205/45/17
steelies (16") for winter duty with blizzaks 195/55/16
some lightweight but so lightweight that they're too ugly for daily use 16" alloys for autocross use with some nice sticky tires :)
