55% fronts and 35% rear. I had 20 all the way around before. I want to rear do my rear glass to 20 and then it will be perfect and legal too...

I had asked for 15% on my MSP .. but I'm pretty sure it was something like 10%. The one time it was metered when I was pulled over, it came up 7%. Either way, it was too dark.
I have 20% on my G35 now .. I think it's perfect. I know these pics aren't of tint on a MSP, but you can still get a decent idea for the shade of it.
Rush, thats one sexayy G35, wats it lowered on?
It isn't -- that's actually stock height! I'm gonna have to wait to move into a new house before I can lower my car at all .. because if I drop it now, I won't be able to make it up my own driveway, LOL. (doh)

wut looks lower for some reason, the tein springs give em a nice drop. i have a friend with a black one lol.. are those stock wheels?
I've had 5% all around for 6 years on my car and never have I been pulled over FOR JUST MY TINTS...
However, when I've been pulled over for speeding or any other moving violation, the cop usually threatens to add the tint ticket... BUT, with a little negotiating power, the tints have actually helped me with getting out of the speeding ticket!
THE NEGOTIATION: I throw out the idea to the cop to just give me a ticket for the tints and 86 the speeding ticket... why? I'll have to pay just as much towards the speeding ticket to get the tints replaced/removed... Showing a good attitude along with a slight sense of humor, they sometimes let me go altogether; other times I've gotten the tint ticket for just ONE window ($40). Never have I gotten the ticket for all windows!
CONCLUSION: For as long as I've had my tints illegal, I haven't spent nearly as much to replace/remove them compared to how much I spent to get them installed. I've been pulled over for something at least twice a year and I think I've spent a total of $120 in 6 years on tint tickets ($1.66 per month). I see it as a small insurance cost to keep me cool in this hot ass Florida weather!

MD law is 35%, but car came from factory with light tint on the windows, i had 50% put on so i would be legal (at the time you could be pulled over solely for tint, not anymore you ahve to be pulled over for something else first) Now it is about 40%.
