Oh, and as for the mods, We have the touring package, but I loved the chrome door handles. So there's this guy on Ebay, that sells the chrome door handle covers that look great (bought some for our RX-8) These will really make your ride stand out. And the chrome door handles are the only way I can tell if a CX-7is a GT or just a T. We haven't recieved them yet because they are made in Hong Kong (1-3 week Delivery) But I E-Mailed the guy and he made sure they will fit. Plus the Price is Good too.

Chrismulkey....take photos of the chrome handles when you get them..interested to see how they look etc....that is a good price for all 4!

Depends on the dealer, some would void it, and some wont.
Get to know your service advisor. A little conversation goes a long way.

Did my CP-E intake

OK guys, with a new model this is virgin territory.

Some mods will probably apply from MS6, and there's probably new ground to cover.

What mods have you done - or are you planning to do with your CX-7?

I installed a proto-type intake from CP-E

sound great and it gives 8-10 hp

matches graet with the HKS BOV and CP-E will start to sell their final version from next week. www.cp-e.com

G-papi,
I have a 2007 cx-7 sport. I just ordered a K & N air filter for it, note I checked with Mazda parts, it uses the same filter as a 2006 turbo 6. You can't use same cold air induction as there is a fit problem. I have checked with K & N and AEM, cold air induction is not yet available. I read elsewhere that removing the baffle in the air filter box improves mileage and performance, but haven't been able to verify that fact.

The offset is the issue, and I don't know beans about it. Though the wheelwell clearance is surely more than adequate, the crucial points have to do with how close the tire comes to suspension and steering components, especially when either steering, or suspension travel is at an extreme angle.

Can somebody who knows more about this post here?

i've found out the following spec's while shopping for 20"'s for my new GT...
use an 8.5 wide wheel max
5x4.5 pattern (aka 5x114.3)
high offset, between 30 and 45 will work
not too hard to find decent rims with these specs

p.s. thats my first post here - just registered after stumbling onto the site last night...if i've broken any forum posting rules, feel free to gently flame me, followed by some gentle corrections.. :)
