I've never had it on the fuel range screen, but after my last fill up I mistakenly pushed the settings button and saw this. Seems a little high to me, but if it's accurate, I'm pretty impressed for a 12 gallon fill up!

I always fill up around the 1/4 tank level. Typically put 11-something gallons in after racking up a bit over 300 miles. Don't really pay attention to the Distance to Empty level unless I'm getting low on fuel.
Wife's Camry Hybrid can get ~600 miles per tank.

That's a pretty typical DtE Scorpio. I just always figure a fillup puts 400+ miles in the tank, no matter how I drive.

600 miles/tank is impressive, but it is a hybrid. I wonder how much better the CX-5 would be if was also a hybrid.

I always top off whenever I'm near my gas station, but today I was down to "10 miles before empty". It's good to know my lil CUV can stay away from the station for awhile if needed (thumb)

I don't have a photo but my last estimate after a fill up was 672KM. Mainly because the drive was at 80-110KMpH most of the way and used a full tank.

To add, 2 adults, 2 kids, absolutely packed cargo area and 2 kids bikes.

My CX-5 often gets 425-470 miles before filling. Best ever is 507 miles. Even then it only took 13.5 gallons (of 15.3 capacity) so I probably had another hour of driving or over 60 miles left before I started sucking air. Pretty good for an AWD SUV. Sometimes I'm forced to fill up with only 300 miles or so because I know I won't be near my preferred station for some distance.

All my fill-ups are available by clicking on my fuelly banner. I haven't been driving it much lately. Now that the weather is warmer and drier I put more miles on my motorcycles.

Must be nice. I'm getting a super 22 mpg out of mine.

A lot of possible variables assuming everything is fine with vehicle.

Elevation, lots of hills, city driving, quick off line starts? What do you get with a fixed cruise control setting of 60-65?

I'm getting about 330-345 miles to the tank with my 2.5 Touring AWD.... 70% highway driven and I'm trying to drive sensible to get better mileage. Only 4k miles on it so hoping this will improve. Although not expecting much better since I have to factor the AWD.

Usually have to get gas around 350-375 miles though the display on full tank is usually 400+. Drive mostly highway also but then again, it's the 2.5 AWD model.

Had 610 miles today after filling up, went to 612, thought i'd taken a photo when parked of it at 611 miles, but no picture on phone (pissed), but i've posted over 65 mpg on the forum so 12 x that is 780 potentially.

I wish I could come close to some of your numbers. Most of my daily commute consists of stop and go and bumper to bumper traffic for about 60 minutes. I do get decent numbers on the highway up to 65mph.

Nothing like putting 16.65 gallons in a 14.5 gallon tank :)
How far past 0mi range indicated do you drive?

I guess I have no idea how much fuel one squeeze in there but wouldn't want to cause issues with the evap emissions system

According to owners manual FWD is 14.8 Gallons & AWD can take 15.3 gallons
