Does anyone know what this thing is?
Is there a screw hidden behind it or something? (Been too lazy to check!!)

Thanks

Actually, depending on the switch, you should have enough room to put it there. If you pull up the center console, you will still be able to access the e-brake tensioner nut. I popped the cover off and threaded my cable for my ipod through that hole. However, I believe you might have issues closing your lid over the drink holder with a switch in place.

If he uses a flush mounting switch (which I prefer anyway) then it should still close easily. Also +1 on being able to remove the cupholders anyway.... it's actually easier to access the tension nut that way, and pretty damn easy to remove the cupholder anyway.

Good idea!

I'm planning on placing some LED's in the cubholder, but hide them, so that they aren't visible, just fill the cubholder itself with a glow of light. I was thinking about a switch (flush mounting), but its kinda pointless IMO, i will just wire it to the cigarette light. The lights come on, so will the leds?

What do you guys think?
