color me stupid, but I cannot connect to the server. :D
you must connect using an FTP client

if that's what you tried, do you have a log or an error message ?

all the files are there ... look in the folders
unless, for some reason, you are not getting a dir listing

you might have to play with the Passive mode settings if you are behind a router.

thats all i can think of

yup, i saw that

speed should be pretty good at this time of the day. I get 300+kb/s sometimes at night

boostisgood: you need an ftp client ... i would suggest FlashFXP. You can do a search on "ftp" at www.download.com

Once you installed the client, find out how to add a site to the list (all the info needed to connect is in one of my posts here). The client will ask you for the address, port, a username and a password.

If you get FlashFxp, click on Sites and then Site Manager, then click on New Site and fill out the info on the right

metal you totally kick ass! thank you for posting this, just awaiting the finished downloads

is flash xp faster than some of the other clients or just more user friendly- i am using ftp explorer seems to work ok

speed all has to do with the connection ... the client or server doesn't change anything. I'm just used to flashfxp and i think it's very easy to use, that's why i suggested it. The only ftp client that doesn't seem to download or upload as fast as the others are Windows' Explorer (when used to connect to ftps) or DOS's ftp client for some reasons.

Alot of things can alter speed ... how far the server is from you. where does the connection has to go through in order to make it all the way to your computer. how many people are downloading at the same time, etc.
