I got my car stuck on a snow mound while parking today... kind of high-centered it. I noticed this piece of foam dangling below the driver's side floor board. Any idea what this is for?

I got my car stuck on a snow mound while parking today... kind of high-centered it. I noticed this piece of foam dangling below the driver's side floor board. Any idea what this is for?

Anyone familiar with the underside of the car care to comment on what this piece of foam seal is?

See if you can pull up the parts diagram that shows the plastic underbody shields right and left (the long plastic panels that are on the right side and on the left side of the underside of the vehicle.) That foam strip may be somewhere in that diagram. The diagram you have pulled up is just a floor sheet metal diagram. If you can find the one with the plastic shields, you might find what you're looking for. I'll see if I can help once/if you can find such diagram.
