What is the Largest or Most Impressive Thing You Have Hauled in Your Hatch?

Just a$$ and groceries. Fortunately, I have my Ram (and trailer, when necessary) if I have need to seriously haul anything.

1) A nine foot tall X-Mass tree. Had to leave the back open though.

2) 50 inch plasma tv. Had to take it out of the box and sit it in the back seat floor. Also needed to open the rear windows to close the doors. I was to scared to lay it down or lean it too much so I sat in the pass. seat(wife drove) and reached around to hold it upright. It was a real pain on the highway as air came in the open windows and hit the flat front, almost pulling my arm out of socket. But they wanted $80 for delivery. HA!

Awesome post! That tree may be the winner.

So in other words, there is no way in hell my 52 inch LCD would have fit if you had to go through that to get a 50 incher in there.

46" Samsung LCD tv in box.

The folks at Circuit City swore it would never go in, "We load cars all day, including Mazda3s, it won't fit." Made them eat their damn words.

Sweet! For future reference, how did you position it in the car without removing the box?

These stories are making my proud moment with the snowblower look weak! Although just ass and clothes are about as weak as it gets! (yes)

See how slick he is? Managed to make sure you know his TV is bigger than yours and worked it in so that it didn't seem like he was trying to own you.
Nicely done.

100 pound Newfoundland mix. He turned out to be a great car rider, but three weeks later I'm still finding slobber stains in the back seat.

LOL!! Nice!

Maybe I will edit it and at the bottom put PWNED!

Nah, that was not the intention. I was just amazed he fit 50 inches back there (yeah I know, that is what she said, there, it's been done already). And to position it just perfectly where opening the rear windows allowed the extra room is genius. I was genuinally just impressed.

I layed it flat in the cargo area. Folded down the rear seats, took off the rear cargo area cover (not sure what it's actually called) and slid it right in.

They tried for about 10 minutes to talk me into letting them ship it to my house, convinced it wouldn't fit. I told them "Look, I just drove an hour to find this TV in stock at this price...I'm not leaving here without it".

An 8 foot plastic swimming pool for my dog.

8 FEET! I bet the dog was happy!

Largest thing for me was my 9 foot long side skirt package and another time was the huge curved box that my broken ass front lip arrived in. DHL broke the damn thing so I had to request another one be sent.

7 ft Mango sapling, that's growing quite nicely :)

I've yet to take my yellow lab for a ride. He's still a pup (a 6 mo 45 lb pup) and ocassionally likes to start digging in the seats. I'm guessing he's not gonna ride this car for a little while.

What's up with the MS3 owners hauling trees? LOL!

My old treadmill fit perfectly back there. I was hard for some to believe.

I also fit an hp color laserjet 5500. They guy helping me carry it just glanced at the car and said " you expect to carry this in THAT!!" When he saw the room with the seat folded, he was like "oh wow!".

Also hauled my four new tires, no problem.

Almost forgot, a twin size mattress with box(had to leave the hatch open though).

Fully assembled kitchen island. Very similar to something like this...

4 golf bags with the seats up so that 4 golfers could fit comfortably. There was even room left over for one more bag and one more person. Only thing is someone has to ride with all the drivers. My car has become the golfmobile.

Aside from all the autoX stuff (set of 225 Hoosiers on stock wheels, easy-up canopy, folding seat, air tank, jack)...?

A 10500BTU air conditioner. The seats had to go down and the privacy cover had to come off, but it fit just fine.
