What is the B&M Short Throw Shifter Part #???? Please Tell Me

I ordered one and the one I recieved said it fits the Ford Probe and MX3, I know our motors were in these cars at one time, but I remember someone posting that their short shifter said that it did indeed fit protege on the actual paper itself. The part # of the shifter I have is 45078.

It fit on all Protege and also on some ford escort and mazda MX-3

return it and get the 45071.....if you install the one you have...the top oring and internal snap ring will not reinstall...the carrier or pivot housing is too long....it was a design flaw that was fixed with the 45071.....I know people that installed the one you have...and just shoved it in and allow the tight orings on the carrier/pivot housing to hold it in place...but that is not the mazda design...it was designed to be solidly held in place by the internal snap ring.....get the correct part.
