What is it with my orange msp!!!!!!!!!!!

coming out to warm up my car last night I noticed that there was a peice of my driver side mirror laying in the snow. This happened right out in front of my mothers house. You can tell it was deliberetly done. It looks like somebody drove right by very slowly not getting out of the car head on and hit their driver side mirror against mine, and cracked the back half of my mirror off.Also, their were perfectly straight tire marks going about a foot away from my car that continued all the way down the block. This will be the second time I had to replace that stupid mirror, except last time someone did 1000 dollars in damage that I had to claim under my insurance. This time no scratches or body damage thank god, only a 120 dollar mirror that already comes painted from mazda, I will order one tommorow. What do you guys think of this, is it out of gelousy, because I get nothing but complimants about how nice my car is and how beautiful the color is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

i have noticed in the past i habd a blue truck and now a yellow car... people tend to notice them more... my truck had some small vandalism done.. nthin to to bad.. the car.. well it stays n the garage.. it ay be bad-luck, jealousy. or just a former crush gone bad.. who knows.. but sorry to hear that happened

.. I know EXACTLY how you feel.

I don't own an orange MSP -- I have a Titanium. Obviously. But since I've had it, I've had more incidents with people pulling s*** than with any car I've had in the past. Even when taking friends' cars into consideration -- none of them have had anything as irritating.

I came out of work one night to see someone had bashed in my right front fender. The angle of it was wrong to be a door opening next to where I'd parked my car, and it was too high to have been a thump from a bumper. After showing it to a few people and talking it over with them -- I'm pretty sure that my car was either kicked or punched. I think someone might've even hit it with a baseball bat, because the major part of the dent was the right length and width.

And even before that incident, I came out one morning to go to classes -- and noticed three circular dents right above the driver's side door. Again, it looked like the car had been punched -- or maybe the end of some blunt object had been used. And this happened right in my own driveway!

I think it's jealousy, personally. I see no other reason that people purposely vandalize cars. I'm about ready to set up a team of Rottweilers around my MSP -- and train them to happily kill anyone that comes within ten feet.

i don't have a spicy orange msp either ,but i think there are magnets and a hit me sign on my back bumper. i have never been in an accident before and now in the past month of owning my MSP I have been rear ended twice. the one on wednesday might be the last straw b.c it looks like its gonna be totalled. maybe its an MSP thing that says, hit me or hurt me or something like that

sorry to hear the bad new's about your msp. Such a waste of a beautiful car if they total it out. Maybe if you have the doe, you should look into the mazda RX8 thats what i'm concidering for my next car. (mspo)

When I drove off the lot with my blue P5 I was so paranoid of getting into an accident.

Did you tell the person your car was just driven off the lot?

i got hit the first time like a week after i got it, and i had been paranoid since then ,but i was slowly getting over it. well on wed morning i went to breakfast with my aunt and we were talking about my accident b.c she didn't know ,and like 2 hours later i got hit again. i don't know what it is ,but it seems like MSP are going down the tube more and more everyday it seems like

vandalizing cars is some low brow s***... I dont know wtf is with people doing stuff like that. its as cheap as burning someones house down just less damaging but look at the punishment for arson....

car vandalizing should be 6 months no questions asked

i know how you feel too, i had my winshield broken about 5 and half months ago. the ****** up thing about it is that i've only had my car for 6 months. fucken haters around here.

this set me back $180 and now i have to replace it again because a ****** rock on the freeway cracked my winshield while coming home from work, and to top it off, when i was going to work in the morning someone threw a rock on the freeway and hit the top off my car and mad a dent. also someone hit my car in the back and chipped the paint. this car is giving me too many probs. getting a bit tired of it.

i was lucky.
the dealership had my car for two weeks because of a curb jumping out at my car when it was icy and about a mile down the road on my way home some asshole almost took my front end off because he didn't like being behind a truck. then about 100more feet down the road some dumb kid in a civic locked up his brakes ending up inches away from my ass...
then i got on the entrance ramp and he almost hit me again because i was slowing down for some hillbilly because his wheel fell off!!!!!

i think protege's must be cursed...

my boyfriend owned a P5 and within the 8 months he had it, he had 3 accidents in it...

the first, he was driving down the freeway and the car in front of him kicked up this huge solid pipe, a good two feet long, straight up into his front bumper and literally pierced the front bumper/fender/headlight...

then a couple months later, while he was at work, someone backed into his car with their suv...

then the day he got it back from the body shop from the second accident some guy rear ended him...

he decided the car was cursed and got another car...and it sounds like some of you guys are having just as bad of luck as he did...

i just hope my MSP doesnt suffer the same fate....

well Mine is orange and I keep a very close eye on it. I had a Black Ford probe GT it was a 93 and i got it with 40,000 miles on it when i was a junior in highschool. anyhow.. I came out of work one day and someone keyed it all the way down the side in the bestbuy parking lot. Talk about break your heart. Its hard to own something nice and make sure people dont mess with it. Now that im in phoenix instead of Ohio, i need to worry about people stealing it. good thing i have a garage

They say the "street life" of the orange MSP's will be very short. I have an orange MSP and keep a real close eye on it. Got my first door ding at 1000 miles, but other than that things are OK so far. Sorry to hear about all the other problems on here.

I've had Coke and other miscellaneous fluids all over my car many times when I've come out from places.

That and three or four door dings even though I try to park out by my myself.
