Yesterday (Sunday) actually, but upgraded the stock horn to PIAA dual tone (400/500hz).

Nice vids. The PIAA has a good sound to it. I had forgotten what the stock horned sounded like since I upgraded to Sickspeed horns forever ago. My wife was recently joking about the horns on our Mazda3 after someone pulled out in front of her. She said they were so wimpy and sounded like Michael Cera lol
Inner tie rods aren't bad to replace, especially on a TX car. You could do it in the work parking lot. Just rent the tool from Autozone and you'll be golden. At least you know what was clunking now. (I'm an optimist, but that still sucks, man.)

Washed the windows at the gas station this afternoon and even cleaned up the headlights while I was at it, at which time I discovered I really want to do a quad-bixenon retrofit. I wouldn't mind being the first P5 on here with one. It'll be expensive as hell, but worth it in the end... I think. Anyone want to donate to the cause?

got Hawk pads from CR3, Brembo blanks from tirerack, 'brake hardware kit' from rockauto (might as well), new radiator cap from rockauto, and a mazdaspeed oil cap from ebay!
and i also posted up a wanted post looking for a oil dipstick.... yes i broke while adjusting the belts (i know im not the only one)

Installed PIAA dual tone horns. Much better sound (as we all know) but now the stock grill won't fit so I'll be modifying the horn brackets. Luckily I have an aftermarket grill I got for free that fits so I'll fix the brackets over the mext couple of days.
Also blacked out the badges with Plasti Dip, too. Picture of the grill is today with the horns removed and just set in place to see how it looked. I also painted the gloss strip on top of the grill to match the black of the badge....I think it looks more uniform.
