What have you done to your P5 today?

This doesnt deserve its own thread.

Quick question: do you need to drain the tranny fluid when pulling the tranny and bell housing? I dont think so, but i need to be sure.

Installed PIAA dual tone horns. Much better sound (as we all know) but now the stock grill won't fit so I'll be modifying the horn brackets. Luckily I have an aftermarket grill I got for free that fits so I'll fix the brackets over the mext couple of days.

Here's the slight modification I did to my grill to make them fit. 5 minutes with a dremel

Yes. You'll need to remove the axles to get the trans out anyway and a lot of fluid will come out once you pull them.

Still working away. It's hard to make progress when you only get a couple hours here and there to work on it and I keep making slight modifications here and there

My whole plan was to use this as a plug and make a mold do I could make it in carbon fiber. But I see too many things that I would have done differently to go through the trouble of making a mold. But I already have a different design in mind and a different 2-piece lip/splitter to replace my current front splitter.

went to Advanced Auto and picked up a nice looking shift boot and shift knob! I really like it and it doesn't show the PRND anymore

I don't know jack about aerodynamics but that rear defusser certainly looks badass, nice job, man! Looking forward to seeing the final product. :)

Thanks, now do i need to pull both axles?

Yeah, if you're going to pull your transmission you'll need to pull both the axles or axle and intermediate shaft. The stick out too far and won't let drop the trans with the motor still mounted. What are you pulling the trans for anyway? Replacing it?

not my p5, but its something better :)

Clutch needs to be done.

Why in the hell would one stick Sony car audio in that is beyond me (much less advertise it).

Everyone has their own opinion to the brand and advertisements as to what they like and dislike. I honestly don't mind Sony.
And I was paid to detail the car and I was lucky to have the privilege to enjoy a Ferrari F430 Scuderia so I appreciated the fact that I was trusted with an expensive car to work on and drive around. It's not everyday that anyone is able to play with one of these super car bad boys privately as well as not having to be monitered or even paying to play with it :D
