What have you done to your P5 today?

Good luck, Cheese. My FS-DE didn't burn any oil and it's still going strong in my friends P5 it's in now. It's got 134k miles. :)

I might be buying a Millenia this weekend to keep the P5 company. It's needs a new motor, but i think I can handle that. heh-heh

now how do you figure you can handle that? :D

Heh-heh. I am quite familiar with the Milly KL. ;)

ps- Gimmie your roof strips.

So my wheel bearing went out on pass side and i pulled both hubs to replace both bearings but the drivers side axle came out....so question do i need to replace any seals or can i just pop it back in?

Just jack up the front of your car and get the wheels off the ground...grab at top and bottom...if there is any movemnet replace

Also the boot on old control arm is ripped to s***....what are my options? Do i need to replace?

You can buy new boots from Mazda. Pack it with new grease and push the new boot on :)

In other news, my P5 made it to Toronto! On the way the A/C slowly died to the point where it was blowing hot air, and even on fan speed 4 there wasn't much air coming out of the vents. I turned off the A/C and a few minutes later my car starts taking a piss on my passenger through the foot vent. After a few minutes of this I turned the A/C back on and it was blowing hard and very cold.

I'm guessing a blocked drain caused ice build-up on the in-cabin A/C rad, I'll have a look at that tomorrow.

Turned up the boost today. Now I think I'm getting fuel cut or my exhaust is restricting the turbo from making proper air. It acts sluggish, even hesitates, once it passes about 5-6 psi of boost. It still does boost about 8 psi on the highway but settles back down to about 6.5psi.

I'm running GT2560R - SR20 turbo, turbolife FMIC, stock MSP ECU. I do not have a wideband so I have no way to tell if it is going lean at the top end of my boost.

Any ideas?

i can guarantee its not going lean lol if it feels sluggish its bogging down because the ECU is dumping fuel. Pretty normal for a MSP ECU with no piggyback
