What have you done to your P5 today?

I live in Colorado and we get a good amount of snow... my cars not rusted bad at all except where some paint has chipped off. underside is in good condition

Ordered a single fog light cover to replace my fogs that I got rid of a few months ago. One fog cover on one side and my custom license plate bracket for the other side

Dang...do you need a spare...I have one cheap...

I may. kzl_99es has an engine in my garage that he pulled out of his car, and I was thinking of snagging that pan. Not sure his plans though. PM me a price. I may buy it anyway.

Yea don't know what's up with that I'm in p.a and my p5 doesn't have one spot of rust on the body or under the car.Gonna go work on my wheel's now.

PA just recently went to salt on the roads, didn't they? I know that Sharon used a lot of sand and cinders.

jesus christ, the underside of your car....its terrible lol

It actually gets worse. I have a hole in the "frame rail" under the drivers side, near my feet.

Looks like SATimko needs a whole new car. melt that rust bucket.

No progress today.

Rust is lighter than carbon fiber.

People don't believe me when I said that most of this pretty much happened in one winter. When it did, it was too late, and too expensive in my mind to fix. Car has 159k on it and still runs and drives good. As many miles as I'm probably going to put on it this year, I'll be dumping it sooner than later anyway.

So, I cannot find the link for the cheap front endlinks...when I was changing out the front they were seized so I need new ones, but forgot which SUV or whatever they were off of, can someone shoot me the link...

NICE!!! Haha...Just what I like to hear...I still have to put a new headgasket on as well...I blew the one on there autoxing it last month...other than that and unbolting the KMR V-Brace I think it is about done and ready...also looking for another VC and waiting on the stock header from 95blackprobe...

Keep it running long enough for me to pay off the MSM and find something else.

Mazda2.

I'm going down to checkers today to check out a possible candidate for cheap/ strong rear endlinks

This will come from a 94 LS Saturn (rear links)

I'm going to bring a ruler and check them out.

I know that there is more to do besides that but I'll figureit out when I get there.

I like how you're always finding different option brotha. Keep it up. I know a lot of people appreciate it.

Thanks!

...at least I didn't say slammed miata (with snow tires)

Nothing wrong w/ a miata on snow tires... but an MSM on snow tires is a bad idea lol. As is a slammed miata.

Actually... that last one is just a bad idea period.

Brand new car as a winter beater. Brilliant!

Recognizing it as truly an econobox that doesn't need parked for the winter... well... some people still need to learn that concept. Brand new car as a DD period... not really my thing. I was thinking more along the lines of an E30 or hell, even another Protege.
