Matt, LED's won't work unless you find special ones that do. I don't know how to explain it but the connectors for the 1157 LED's is not the same as for regular 1157's. I bought a pair and they would light up but only if you held them in a certain position when putting them in and that was a position where they were halfway in.
not sounding mean at all dude!
I totally understand where he's coming from, having other hobbies and them not being the best for both.
When i started biking, i had guys freaking out on me for not getting alloy wheels or carbon fiber bars and disc brakes, and etc. etc. etc. cause i was modding my car instead.
not sure which ones you got but every pair of 1157 bulbs i have bought work in all 1157 sockets.
Matt as far as that plug goes mazda can order you the connector housing but you need to provide the wiring harness prongs...however if you dont care for using the lamps on the corner of the bumper you can use that plug with very slight modification to the socket.
So the connectors that are on the foglight harness for the P5 side markers use the same plug? If so then that's perfect.

If I'm paying $2000 plus per bike, they had better be lighter than 40+ lbs!!

Where can I find this plug?
Ordered 8000k Low Beams and 3000k Hi Beams from hidny.com (just the basic $50 kit that I had on my pontiac that worked well). Debating whether or not to get 6000k for the highbeams (though I doubt that I would ever use them, just something for a slight color change).
Since I'm caught up on bills debating on whether or not getting the MSP exhaust from protegegarage.com. I've heard countless sound clips and I'm stuck between the MSP and the Vibrant (Though I don't think a full catback is needed right now since I just have an intake).
