What have you done to your P5 today?

I'm just trying to think about it since I'll have to roll my fenders and get 5mm spacers all around.

That size spacer should keep me from rubbing right?

finally put my carbon hood back on and washed the front end of the car
it actually doesnt look as bad as i remember lol im goin to leave it on there for a while this time
i just need to buy something to get it to stop letting water in the front, like some garage seal or something...might look into that today
anndddd im going to pull out the radio wiring harness and finally solder and shrink wrap all my gauge wires into it, i keep getting flickering gauges and sometimes they dont work at all, should hopefully fix that

Just get 15mm.

You want to rub more, right? ;)

How wide are the RX-8's again? Are they 8"?

FD wheels, not RX-8. They are 16x8.

Plus with 5mm spacers I won't have to extend my studs.

They make spacers with new studs built in, if you get 15mm or bigger to accommodate the existing studs. These are what I use.

But yes, 5mm spacers should work... 1" wider rim, 1" = ~25mm, so measure the inside of your wheel well and see if you have 20mm+ of clearance right now. I would guess yes, but I've never fitted 8" wheels so I don't know exactly. Post your ?? in the Aggressive fitment thread. They'll tell you.

Are you worried about hitting the strut? Rubbing while turning? Rubbing over bumps?

FD wheels are niiiiice. Good choice, especially for $200. There is another cat on here with the red P5, he's running FD's on his for auto-x. Shoot him a PM and see what kind of setup he's on. You could probably find him in the MOTM thread, he was in it last month.

I'm not worried about rubbing. HKPRO5 hit me up with the info needed and 5mm will keep me in the car as long as I rub my fenders.

=)

Mattv has been pm'ing me for weeks now. lol The spacer is so there is clearance from the tire to the strut.

Just buy the tires Matt....lol you dont have to put them on today. lol You can roll your fenders at another time. lol

Just buy coilovers so you don't have to worry about hitting the strut, then buy 15mm spacers and slam. Like, duh!

thanks for the compliment HKPRO5 I'am going to strip my window tint, and put new window tint on it because the tint that's on there now has been on it since 2002 and that a long time ago.lol.finally got my K&n drop in a it does great dont think i will be getting a sri intake not quite sure, but i know for a fact i want a mazdaspeed3 exhaust

Yup, that's the cat. Those gold FD's look so badass on your car, mate.

Matt, I've still got a fender roller from ********** in my garage, drive on up and we can roll your fenders. I'll be home all week. (sarcasm, unless you want to drive up. Haha)

But if you're going to lower your P5, you'll probably need to roll your fenders eventually. It's not hard, and if you take your time and do it correctly, it won't crack your paint. But I've seen your work, you have much patience, grasshoppa.

*edit- sooooo many vendors banned on here... So sad.
