but i drove mine to myrtle beach and back yesterday
took it pretty well, but those bumpy highway roads plus slammed on Ground Controls=bouncing like crazy lol

my girlfriend was about to kill me cuz she was trying to sleep but couldnt haha

Got some work done today.

Here is the final test fit on the turbo and down pipe

Turbo, wg, downpipe all installed. next is oil feed, drain and hot and cold pipes

I have to admit, Im jealous! (rei)

If you are getting corrosion, you might want to check the battery cable. I just cut mines 8 inches inwards, and it was still corroded with that green/white stuff.

Yeah, I ran into that too...I just kept cleaning it with baking soda paste until it was mostly clean. I guess a cable replacement is in my future, but there are two in the harness and I am going to have to figure out what I need to replace and where it needs to go.

That's a mam manifold

Begi is a top mount manifold

Ahh ok looks almost identical to the early mam manifold...changing out the wastegate gaskets can be a huge pita

Does anyone know if a P5 will pass inspection in Maine with a header and SRI? Car passess if they just plug the computer into an analyzer.

I believe it should as long as you did the non-fouler trick and haven't had a CEL for a while. I know the CEL gets stored for a certain amount of time even after the light goes out but if you've had no CEL for a while, I think you should be ok.

installed a racing beat rsb today.

holy s*** what a difference. It turns in waaaaay tighter, and feels way more solid and planted through turns. Best 75 bucks ive spent on my car.
