Watched my driver-side HID cut out on the way to the store right now. When I left, both sides fired up, only to have the driver side go out again about two min. later. I've been running these for the past 2+ years with no problems ... ballast?

I dunno but the other day I turned my lights on and as I turned onto the road, I realized only my fogs turned on and not any of my headlights. turned the switch off and back on and they ignited. I had one side cut of last winter in the extreme cold but it reignited as well... I have no idea what it is either but they still work very well and the lifetime warranty equals awesome :D

bought some pullies! and drove with no lights on the dash.... No CEL, No Gas Light, No Battery Light, No Seatbelt Light.... it looks good...

i had an alternator problem... and it was because my MAF sensor wasnt plugged in... and the seatbelt light because of seat belt harness

my battery light was on because tthe plug on my intake.... the probe looking one wasnt plugged in.... and it threw off my alternator... idk y but im glad cause thats about $200 that could go towards my pulley install

Uh huh... so you're telling me that the air intake teperature sensor not being plugged in..... threw off your alternator? That... yeah that's a new one.

Where'd it throw it?

it stopped charging my battery..... i went to SEARS and local shops and they said the alternator wasnt producing enough amps and that i needed a new one even though it was replaced already... so... i was running on pure battery until i saw that it was unplugged.... so i plugged it back in.. and all the lights turned off withing the next 50 miles

I've decided that tomorrow (well technically today) I'll be going to pick and pull and picking up a shift knob or two and attempting to make it fit in place of my auto shift knob. I plan to relocate the O/D button and make it a push down instead of button operated shifter. Kind of like in most cars like TLs. I may even get a shift boot..... :D. A little ricey? I dunno. But I'm gonna like it and that's all that matters. I'll get photos up if the project succeeds. :D

Definitely will do. I plan to get a couple shift knobs so if I mess one up, I have another to work on. I'm thinking that I could drill out a large enough hole, it'll fit over that white prong that is pushed down when you push the button. Then I'll make it fit hopefully and be able to gorilla glue the top of the white prong to the top of the inside of the knob. That way all I would have to do is just pull it off real hard to get it off but under normal conditions it would stay on real good. Anyway, I'll let you know how it goes and what exactly I did.
