What have you done to your P5 today?

Spent the whole day repainting the interior pieces. I scrapped the white and went with a metallic black. Looks sick with the couple of coats of clear.

Also painted the heat shield and intake. Heat shield came out better than the intake even though I did almost no prep work on the heat shield since the new header will be put on in a few weeks here. Pics of everything tomorrow.

Just got home from work - added another layer of sludge to the exterior driving home. My poor ride has not been washed since I got to TX :( A wash doesn't look good this week (or the next 10 days for that matter): http://weather.yahoo.com/forecast/USTX0413_f.html It's no longer 22V, a coworker saw it in the parking garage today and swore it was GREEN (shakes head in despair).

I've got the weekend off so I'm going to take an honest swing at my garage:

More important priorities have continually come up, but those that are waiting on my next FS thread should be getting a pm this weekend before I drop it to the forum. Gotta fit my cars in here lol.

Realized that its very likely it may be a long time before my Project gets done..If it gets done at all.

I am losing all motivation for this project...and as unfortunate as it sounds....Its demise may come in the form of the Biggest Part out ever.

what is the cause of this lack of motivation?

I'm on the same fence (clinks beer). My p5 is now strictly a DD on crap-ass roads with no curves in a 300 mile radius ... Plus I have no time to clean my garage - much less have any fun in it. But what the Hell, it's paid off ... and I'm deep in my parts hoard, may as well try to stay the course - and you should too (I can't afford to replace my premium parts with your premium powder-coated parts so don't tempt me lol).

Lets see..where do I start...I have had this car in progress for nearly 14 months..I have never driven it, its ready for paint and has been for 5 weeks and now...I have lost my access to the paint booth I was going to use.
It took me months to find a booth someone would rent me to spray the car...Now I cant get it done.
It may take months again to find another...And I refuse to Put the engine back in until this car is painted and ready to roll.

Now Fall is upon us and I will likely not even get to toy around in this car I have worked soo hard on....Not to mention I have way too much money wrapped up in something I cant even enjoy, nor does it look like I can enjoy for some time to come.

It might be easier..and wiser to simply sell it off....Piece by piece and recoup as much as I can from it.

It would be one hell of a disappointment if you ended up scrapping the project man. Youve put so much hard work into that thing and seeing you scour the forums for the last year or more has been really crazy. I hope you can stay on track becasue honestly I have never seen someone do what you are doing. It is exactly what I wish to do to my P5 one day. Stay with it man. The reward will be worth it.

Someone find me an available Worthy paint booth and I will be happy to finish this damn thing....This just really sucks.

just did the keyless power window mod. pretty cool. took like 7 minutes!! gonna try the sunroof now cause that was so quick
