What have you done to your P5 today?

Got a pic of my engine with the new injen cai converted to sri and the new (to me) OBX header on

Also a pic of my parts collection just getting started. I've got a set of wheels/tires, stock air intake, stock header, and all the plastic parts from the rear hatch from around the spare tire.

Stuck my amp back there

Re-Adjusted my AWR bar...Fixed the creaking and groaning....Moved it to the tightest setting....and....developed the CLUNK...dammit...

Guess I'll just loosen it and maybe I'll finally have a quiet rear end...

I got it aligned today, hooray! My new r-compound tires should be getting mounted tonight or tomorrow, so I'll be all set for this weekend's autocross. Hopefully I don't get stuck at work too much :(

Ventus R-S2s?

Well, depends on what you want to do. The RS2s are a MUCH better street tire. RT615s are the scariest thing I've ever driven in the wet.

If you're looking for the stickiest thing out there, you've got the Advan Neova, the Bridgestone RE-01R, Toyo R1R and the Dunlop Durezza Z1 (iirc). Pretty much any of these will out perform the RT615. And for streetability, the RE-01R (the only one besides the RS2s and RT15s that I've got direct experience with) is a FAR better street tire in all conditions than the RT615.

News flash ladies and jellyspoons, the Azenis is no longer the king of the mountain, and it hasn't been for quite some time now.

Now, if you want a cheap tire that handles well? Sure, get the azenis. They're not a bad tire, don't get me wrong, but they're not the giant slayer many people make them out to be.

I just couldn't resist taking a picture of it when it was armor all'd and finally put on there. Sorry for the bad pics. I'll get better ones hopefully soon. For now tho, I feel like I'm driving the mach one when i get in there (rlaugh). It's got me feeling like a giddy school girl haha.

Where does one go about getting the Team Pro5 stickers? Me wants for my pro5's!

They're ok... there are better options.

I've been very happy with my new sticky Yokohama S.drive tires over the past couple of weeks...$91 per tire at Tirerack.

Talked to the mechanic yesterday, he thinks it is def. coming from the flange at the midpipe, so, gonna call his buddy that does exhausts to quote a new high flow catted midpipe with new flanges.

Might as well get the new midpipe i wanted if i am gonna be paying to cut the stock one up

Tylor

hehe yea i was thinking about doing it but i'm not good at painting lol..i'm afraid if i do, i'll make overspray all over the grilly mesh part haha

heh yea it's really not that bad. You just gotta get in there with masking tape and make sure everything is masked of real good. I sanded it down a little bit before I started taping it off. couple coats of primer, few base coats and a few coats of clear and you should be good. just don't overdo any of the coats cause starting over is a b****.
