right now it's mobil 1. No CEL aMaff :-(

i've filled up w/ gas since and it's still doing it. the side mount looks like it may be torn? The last of the three. and the front looks like it has been pulled back...if you look at the 1st two pics it looks like the nut has been pulled back so that it's 3/4 the way down the mount instead of halfway like it should?

is the muffler moving like it is a bad thing? i've never seen anyone else's do that :(

d'oh! Missed it. Damn, that would've been too easy huh? I'd check the plugs. See if there's one or two that look bad (REALLY clean or really sooty / wet). Make sure your connections to the coil packs and to the plug wires are good too.

yea gonna do that today and also check the gap and make sure they are still fine.

I KNOW THIS DOESNT HAVE AN AFFECT ON IT...but i think i drilled thru both non foulers so while i am down there i am gonna put a new one on... :(

amsgator, this is the "What have you DONE to your P5 today" thread, not the "ask a bunch of questions" thread.

Hey ams, your avatar is so cute it prevents your posts from becoming annoying. But you'd probably have better luck getting your issue resolved by starting a thread in the 2.0 tuning subforum rather than posting in this thread. :)

10-4. Should have said that sooner. I'm only a mod, not a psychic :p

Lol.

It might. You never know. My best bet is getting a new wet of foulers and drilling only one to see if that might be your problem with the leak.

yea that's what i planned on doing. i seafoamed it to check for leaks all around the header thinking maybe thats what it was...and sure enough coming from the 2nd o2...bad enough that the seafoam was bubbling a lil bit on the nonfouler and had some wet spots from it too. hope it fixes it or calms it down at least

ok i'll copy what i overviewed from that other thread over and post the link in this thread once i get it up

Yes. The 2nd O2 sensor's main job is to just tell the ECU whether or not the primary cat is there. As I said, mine ran just fine without it even plugged in. The primary O2 sensor is the one that could cause some issues if it's not functioning properly.

what about if there's a leak? if there is it isn't very big

A leak is a leak is a leak. Any leak needs to be fixed asap before it causes anymore problems.

i think we got it fixed yesterday but not positive. i only have a lil seafoam left to check.. :-\ i am gona put a nonfouler on it that isnt drilled since i believe i drilled both last time. hopefully that will fix the leak. not sure if the leak would cause the idle to go down as much as it has but i will see how it goes. crossing my fingers.

I think I'm gonna strangle my bad stock brake lines... if I have to replace all the friggin hard lines just to get rid of the stock rubber lines, someone is gonna get a beating (likely the parts guy at the dealership). All the banjos on the calipers came apart just fine, but then where it transitions from rubber line to hard line I'm having a b**** of a time getting it all apart. I've rounded off most of the 10mm nuts on the end of the hard line at this point..

Oh and Maff.. the bleeder isn't 10mm, it is 8. I'm supposed to be at work right now, had to call in and say I broke something on my car yet again. no good.
