What have you done to your P5 today?

someone else told me they wudnt. this is crazy...
I'm sure they've been wrong before lol. What'd they tell you??

For the record, I have a set of MSP springs (so close to being identical to the MP3 springs, it's not even funny) on my P5

Swapped in a new tranny with a welded MSP limited slip diff and a fidanza flywheel with a ACT clutch. Well almost, ran out of time on Saturday as I had to get to work on sunday. Will put it all back together later this week or weekend. In the mean time I'm using Bigg-Tim's truck.

Thanks Tim for the use of the truck.

ROFL

Hadn't thought of that. I have spare bolts, and motors and transmissions.

I have 3 transmissions now. Damit, I must be a redneck or something.

I think I hear the wife yelling, " come move this transmission so I can take a bath."

Oh yeah, forgot to post. The P5 rolled over 30,000 miles on Sunday, probably on the way back from the dealership where my friend purchased his P5!

30K....they grow up so fast!

Between Friday morning and today, I've put just under 1000 miles on the clock. The P5 doesn't make too terrible of a highway cruiser :)

You must have really smooth highways in GA. I get thrashed around on the highways here.

got my 8500 x50 yesterday. gona try it out either today or tomorrow.

Sweet..did you get the hardwire kit for it yet? I think BB or any local speed/audio shop would sell them from about $10.

no not yet. i dont know how to wire it plus i dont intend on leaving it out while i am parked b/c i live on a college campus... i guess i could just take the detector itself w/ me and leave the wiring and all w/ the suction cups up. hmm...how hard is the hardwire?

It acutally is so simple you would laugh. They include a little blue plug that attaches to the 12V switched wire. I will see if I can find a picture of it...but all you ahve to do is plug in the 12V+ that goes to the radar detector to the little clip...and then pinch the clip to the car wire. I used the wire on the back of the cigarette lighter. It pry took about 10-15min(including the time to take out the center console.
