What have you done to your P5 today?

Washed and vacuumed her today and took some pics!

Also ordered my third amp, sirius direct connect, and the rest of my monster cable! All that is left to get are my speakers and sound dampening (doh! realized I need one more set of Monster RCA's)
 
you made need to adjust ur exhaust after the kartboy hangers. i did. it was rubbing because they pull the exhaust closer

Check if its hitting your frame. It cause it to vibrate at different times when your at idle, turning or just plain driving.

i fixed mine for the most part. it doesnt make any noise anymore so i think i fixed it. i was just letting him know he might have to adjust his
 
AHHHHHHHHHHHHH F ENGINE HEAT..... I am wasting sooooo much time not being able to touch my damn engine, it's been parked for almost 2 hours now and I can't touch the sob yet
 
well, yesterday i was having this weird sound come from the rear of my car on the pass. side. It was a "thud thud thud" and would get louder the faster i went. So i took it to my local express tire and have them rack it up. Turns out, one of the little wheel weights that sit on the lip of the inside part of the wheel was rubbing up against my rear strut tower.......

You can see in this picture where the weight was rubbing up against it.

while i had the car racked up, it was pointed out to me that i had a pretty bad exaust leak. so today, i will be getting this fixed....thank god for life time warranty :D

I would eat some food to kill time but I was at the dentist this morning and my mouth is still numb.... AHHHHHH frustrations



In the meantime while you wait for it to cool.....fix the double post, lol.

But yeah ams, my exhaust jsut started vibrating a lot; to the shop it goes to get it fixed. At least the guys will do it for free.
 
this is weird, my entire exhaust is stiff as hell, the MAM midpipe is resting on the crossmember, the downpipe on the thunder header is touching the oil pan and bottom of the engine

the issues i had were with the s pipe.

what i had to do was loosen the nuts, and pull up on the part of the pipe closest to the front of the car, pull down on the part near the rear, and re tighten the bolts. doing that on 3 spots gave me the clearance i needed. but of course, my issue was where the exhaust went over the rear crossmember. it was touching the chassis about the crossmember.

can anyone spot any issues? I think the midpipe, which is MAM is too short and thus pulls the header up and towards the back of the car, still leaving the MAM resting on the crossmember and the header touching the bottom of the engine.

One way to confirm that is to take measurements of your stock pipe saying you still have it and compare it against the MAM one. Or just throw your stock one back on.
 
I used a hammer to fix my fitament problems...pull off the crossmember...beat the hell out of it...and the exhaust hangers, and you'll be golden...no more rattlin...

if he already put the hangers on it will be damn near impossible to get them off
 
hangers are on, the crossmember I considered removing and modifying but like isn't that a vital part of the car? lol btw my thunder headers are very very very messed up atm I am trying to figure out why the welds dont go all the way around the pipes
