Got tired of seeing the peeling clear coat on my hood..
so this will have to do for now.. till i find another hood.
Roof is peeling too, but im gonna get that wrapped in gloss black vinyl.
It's just Plasti-Dip, and it still needs to even out and dry a little more so that's why it still looks a little uneven.
I also dipped the rear "valance" on the rear bumper, the grills (the were both sun faded BAD), and the small middle piece on the front bumper
so this will have to do for now.. till i find another hood.

Haven't done anything to it in a while but this weekend I'm planning on changing the brake fluid and changing the coolant.
This is because if all goes well, Monday night my P5 is going to be a legit track car

is your car NA? if it is i'd stick with a stock replacement or an exedy stage one at the very most
it is... i went with a stage 1 xtd clutch... ima check out and see if my flywheel is ok if not then i may go with a fidanza

Was going to put together my Man shed this weekend but it was raining. It would be my new workplace to work on the P5 parts. Also was going to put my Progress sway bar on, but I had the wrong sized endlinks. Going to use the Energy Suspension adjustable links instead.

Looks good so far. I also used Nightshade. One suggestion; once you're done tinting and you're happy with the darkness, take it somewhere and have them cleared. Most spray on tints get dull/matte after so long and look bad. A friend of mine was doing some clear work and sprayed my tails for free. Here they are 2 years later

I was originally not going to use a clear coat, because what all of my friends have told me is that they don't recommend it, or they have done it and wish they didn't..
A buddy of mine with a civic used rustoleum lens tint and a clear coat but seems to look matte and dark blur like the image you posted (used to being seen)
what clear did your buddy use?
^not sure, whatever he had in house, maybe PPG. It sounds like your friend with a civic used clear in a can. It's all about application; your application o the tint and the clear will determine your outcome. Try to find a paint shop that will be spraying clear sometime soon. Work a deal to see if they will hit your tails while clearing whatever they are working on.
