What have you done to your P5 today?

The fastest color there is. Nice pick up, man. If you have any questions, please let us know. ;)

You would have more HP if your P5 was one color. PlastiDip black is the slowest color ever made. EVER!

Thanks man. I just read your build thread from page 1 to page 111, your build thread is amazing. I hope mine turns out just like yours.

Cam, I think around $90.

Ryan, do eeeet. It was one of my favorite mods. It took some getting used to to have a FWD with neutral handling since I came from 3 Civics with ALL understeer ALL the time. haha

On topic (I keep forgetting... doh!)

I mocked up my rad and my sweet CR3 radiator brackets. :)

I know...it is just the engine, motor mounts, and diff are such a letdown in this car. It is fun to drive but pushing it is rather unsatisfying to me. I have an AWR rear motor mount uninstalled but I dread more NVH, it is bad enough from the other 3. However I know the rear is completely destroyed, I can feel it. (And the car has 100k on it.) I would appreciate any input from others on what to do..

I can't help you as I have no clue what types to buy... Ill be looking for anyone's input to your problem tbh...

I took my intake mani off. Shook it about, what did I see but a set of 4 butterfly valves and 5 screws -_- glad I caught it though :) I'll post pics and update my "build" thread if anyone cares to see. Probably gonna do that in the 'morrow. All I can say is, im very glad my car was burning oil. Made the intake mani walls somewhat sticky. Again, pics tomoz :)

On the more bright side, got my parts :) 4lbs 4oz, $500!!! Those head bolts...

Do want. :) the rim I see looks nice too :) care to share specs? Im no gonna be getting any anytime soon but was just wondering :)

Looking good man :) and happy birthday too! Im 18 on the 11th :) hopefully I'll start her for my b'day present! Working on fixing what I hope is just a piston ring problem right now...

Eesh! That's looking a little worse for wear. I don't mean to offend by saying that though, yours probably runs, unlike mine :/ I'm sure your pistons probably don't look like this either:

Does anyone have any advice on how to clean em??? I obviously don't want to scratch them. Can I put them in any type of solution to break the oil and shyte off???

Also, as I said earlier, here are pics of the butterfly valves that must've flown on down off the mount thingy...

I thought I only had one, then I pulled them all apart. They were in a nice big 'ol bunch...

<iframe src="https://skydrive.live.com/embed?cid=50C06A9C62DCD437&resid=50C06A9C62DCD437%21691&authkey=AJB4_dbamizwtX0" width="320" height="240" frameborder="0" scrolling="no"></iframe>

I cleaned them up and found two more screws that I dremmeled down to replace two missing ones. I need to find one more and then I'll red Loctite them, as that seems to be a common fix?

I'm really wondering where the other three screws are at. I tried attatching a magnet to a string and dropping it down there but that was to no avail.

Could that have been a reason why there was a CEL on???

Also, last one for now, how do I get to the valve seals? I've got the tappets? off, but I'm not sure where to go from here...

WOW! Butterfly valves broke off the rod? this makes me think about mine a bit more in the preventative sense. Musta bound something fierce.

For clean up, start easy and get crazier from there. maybe kerosene and a rag or mild soapy solution and a scotch pad.

For more technical things IDK.
