What have you done to your P5 today?

Well damn. I feel like an ass now... but with a 10,000:1 Male to Female ratio on here, it's quite easy to make the mistake.

Where can I get a larger UDP? I know they have light weight ones but I want a larger one. haha. I believe that my SC is only pushing 4psi due to the size of my UDP. Seeing that the mercedes has a larger pulley I can see why it boosts 7psi. So I figured that out. Really nothing else I can do. lol

u could change the pulley on the actual SC

increasing the size of the main pulley could overdrive the power steering and alternator

If you find a medeival crank pulley, they are stock size, just lightened. Stick to v2, tho. v1 had a issue with shearing at high load....lol

Why don't you just go back to the stock crank? Should be considerably bigger than your udp...

Miata is a great car for a driving enthusiast. The simplicity, price, and reliability just make sense.

However I will say... a great combo of fun car and DD is having a Miata and P5. I just wish my P5 was in a bit better shape...

so today, i drove it, was quite hot outside (95) and it started doing the thing it did a while back, where it sorta sounds like a 2 step
but its only when im taking off from sitting at a light too long, and what really pisses me off is that my fan doesnt even kick on, it only kicks on right when im about to turn the car off for some reason

i need to wire this switch to my fan ASAP, hopefully that will fix it
