What have you done to your P5 today?

YES!!!!

Take THAT AL Gore!!

The internet is MINE!!!

For reference, you were up against the following:

on a Nissan Pathfinder forum I'm on. This was in response to an absolutely bone-headed question in a thread that had a VERY detailed write up as the 1st post:

(rofl)I could be a nice guy and help you even though you're a complete cock bag or I could just let you sweat like most people would do. Take 5min and read the walkthrough again. If you can't figure it out from those instructions then chances are you're not competent enough to do this, which is sad and I'm guessing your mom drank when she was pregnant. Good luck!

On MX5-Atlanta.com, in reference to a picture of a delicious looking slice of cake:
I'd totally stuff it in my word hole again.

Nick's car is sexy. . . . FD's and FX-35 projectors

and i'm not narrow minded, to each his own, even if i don't understand it, just like many don't understand my lights obsession

BUT, it's always function over forum for me.

I rode around in my buddies SLAMMED civic lastnight (doing a retrofit with him for his car) and i don't see the fascination of having to find other roads to get places cause you can't make it over the water drainage channel on the road or get into the driveway. . .

I wasn't directing the closed-minded thing towards you. More towards amaff bcuz he came off with this "holier than thou" attitude and I didn't really understand why...

On that note, I'm not one that's all for the hellaflush thing. Flush is one thing, but the whole VIP/HellaFlush look goes a bit far for my taste. Granted I also realize that different people have different wants & needs and some go for a show-car, others strive for a go-car... Most like it somewhere in between.

And I'm on the same page as you in regards to your last paragraph... Although I do avoid certain roads around where I live. Some roads are just stupid with potholes and metal plates with no slants & missing slabs, etc...

You're being very narrow/closed minded. (shrug)

Another word for closed-minded is ignorant. Just sayin.

You had to break out the thesaurus for that didn't you?

I'm not saying there is ANYTHING wrong with a car with a nice stance. At all. Hell I love a car with a nice stance.

But saying it is "stanced" or "i've gotta get coilovers so that I can be stanced y0!" or "dawg that ish is stanced, son!"

That? That's retarded. I totally get what you're *trying* to say, I'm just saying you're doing it wrong. You, in fact, are the one who is totally missing the point.

Haha, I appreciate your knowledge, but I have never said any of those things. Just because you don't agree with what I meant, doesn't mean a thing.

ok so turns out i miss read the code reader, i didnt have a bank 1 to lean code
i had P0117, Coolant temp sensor signal intermittent

which means bad coolant temp sensor correct? i went out to my car and the car idles, its a bit bumpy though, and that is what i thought the problem was a while back when i have high idle when my car gets hot

anybody have any input on this code? ive never had this one before so i have no idea what to check first

Have you replaced the thermostat? Costs $10 and takes 10 min. Easy first check.

But seeing as it says coolant temp sensor is intermittent means the ecu isn't receiving a reading from the sensor, so that's probably the culprit. replace it.

nope, didnt tap into it for anything
got a question about where it is though, its right there on the right side of the motor where the upper radiator hose goes too correct?

I'm fairly confident that's just the fan switch sensor, not the actual ECU temp sensor.

Yes thats it the stock coolant temp sensor is there in the coolant housing. I had to pull the housing off to add another one when I did my haltech.

Self-tapping screw self tapped itself into my rear drivers tire....and its driving me crazy with the sounds that its making...lol

well i got it fixed, whenever i rebuilt the engine i didnt put the right engine lift thing on the back right of the engine so i didnt have a point for 1 ground wire, so i just grounded that wire to another point, guess that ground wasnt a good one,
i moved the wire to a different ground point and now it runs fine...CEL is still on though

contemplating either a bigger alt. and/or cap since my subs at any volume cause the interior lights and headlights to dim while driving at night (nothing too crazy, just 2 10" RF P1s on a 800w Sony Explode 2ch amp running 0ga wiring for power/ground)
