What have you done to your P5 today?

^^^ Thanks...I guess if I ever grow a set to do this [lol] then I should think about upgrading bulbs too. I leave the house early in the morning and my half open eyes can use all that light output. WTH...guess I should just upgrade bulbs now!:)

Seriously? I mean I did mine over two years ago but I didn't notice any difference in light output at the time if I recall correctly. If anything, maybe it just reduces glare. The light isn't designed to reflect off of that part of the housing, though of course nothing is perfect and some does. It may appear less bright when you are outside the car looking at the headlight but I'm thinking 99.9% of the light that illuminates the road is still there.
My mom drives an 02 lx and if you put em side by side now you can see a huge difference.

Ah yes, the never ending cycle of cleaning, once you finish the last thing on the list, it is time to start over again! I need to clean my interior and my engine bay... look at altspace's and imagine the exact opposite, that is what mine is like.

Yes, you Canadian's lucked out and got the headlights that everyone should have! Post pics of your's once you polish them, I'd like to see how that turns out.
will do :) but in with polishing the headlights comes the removal of the vinyl tinted eyebrows and retinting with the VHT, followed by the 3m over the entire headlight. so basically, this is a full-day job as i'll have to remove the front bumper cover - which isn't hard but is just tedious and a PITA to do.

i hear you on the interior/engine bay :( not having a garage SUCKS, especially when it's either raining or threatening to rain nearly every day

Khaosman - headlight mod looks good...still trying to get up the nerve. Let me ask though, does it affect the light output?

I don't think it did. If it did, not by much. I used to have blue batmobile overlays and those things made it seem like your lights were off. And they didn't look as good as the painted headlights!

Couple of pics from my efforts earlier today

Congrats on the show award Mark, you must be pleased.

Covered over 900 miles this weekend. I love long hauls. Close to 115,000.

rigg

hey bro. try using 4 total pieces of 2x4's two cut at 36" (or less) and the other two cut at 24" (or less) then make two (1 set) of roll onto steps. by nailing the 24" on top of 36" piece. flush on one end. follow me that should get you high enough to put the jack on the side or some where up front....
