What have you done to your P5 today?

i had a ?. a while back there was talk of alternatives to a big brake kit. i know you can swap to the msp brake set up: getting new calipers and rotors and pads, but i also thought i heard something about maybe the 6 cause they would bolt up the same and those rotors are even bigger... is any of this true cause i am tired of looking at these elf size brakes through my wheels

6 brakes = MSP brakes in the front.

i just removed the vtcs and port it... but i dont feel any difference!!
could it be because i have cheap unknown cai??

All CAIs work the same. They're just a metal tube that directs air to the throttle body.

I thought the MSP rears were the same as the 6's? Either way, you can "upgrade" to any year Mazda6 front brakes with the exception of the newest model I believe. You can even swap the MS6 fronts just fine but you need at least 17 in wheels I believe. They're still only single piston calipers but it's something like a 12.2 inch rotor. The regular 6 front brakes were also increased in size for the 06-07 model years (or is it 07-08?) and they will fit under 16 inch wheels. I'm considering the latter when I get my 16" Volks as I'm pretty sure they're larger than the MSP fronts.

I wasn't absolutely sure about the rears, so I didn't confirm it.

yeah i want to allow my stocks to be able to fit when i swap them out occasionally. the bigger ones would look alot better with the 18's though. so i just need the calipers, rotors and pads and change out the brake fluids...

Quick question.

Digital Multimeters are your friend. I never do an electrical project without one.

Just talked to the mechanic. I am leaking coolant inbtween 1 and 2 cylinders, but he won't get to tear it down till monday, so, he says i should be ok to drive, but i need to get it to him Monday.

Also, he recomends putting my stock header back on so i can plug in my 2nd 02 sensor, so there is one less thing for them to pick out, considering i've already used up the cost of my warranty.

I paid $1800 for it and have used it for about $1800 total so far, so they are going to start lookin for reasons to deny me

It should all be covered under warranty, so, we'll see.

Hopefully, i have teh car over the weekend adn the motor just gives out totally.
